For those of our readers looking to mount an escape from South China this fall, we have some good news: Shenzhen Airlines has added three new international routes that will go into service before September’s end.

Better yet: these routes will be discounted (to start anyway).

So what are these new routes? Shenzhen to Hanoi and Jakarta, and Guangzhou to Hanoi, according to Shenzhen Daily, citing Shenzhen Airlines sources.

Flight ZH9047 from Shenzhen to Jakarta will leave Bao’an International Airport daily at 11pm and arrive in the Indonesian capital at 2.20am, between September 27 and October 27. The return journey, flight ZH9408, will leave Jakarta at 3.20am and arrive at Bao’an International Airport at 8.40am.

The new Shenzhen-Hanoi route will leave Shenzhen at 12.50am and land in the Vietnamese capital at 2.20am every day between September 30 and October 27 (ZH9087). Return flight ZH9088 will depart Hanoi at 4.20am and arrive in Shenzhen at 6.50am.

The Guangzhou-Hanoi trip (ZH9089) will depart from Baiyun International Airport each morning at 12.50am and land in Hanoi at 2am. The Hanoi-Guangzhou journey (ZH9090) leaves Hanoi at 3.30am daily and arrives in Canton shortly after 6am.

Now for the important stuff: the discounts! If you book a flight to Jakarta on September 27 or 28, or from October 3 to 15, you will receive a RMB300 discount on a round trip, according to Shenzhen Daily. Round trip tickets to Hanoi for flights from October 3 to 28 are discounted RMB100. (Note: flights must be booked seven days in advance to secure discount).
