Japanese acoustic artist Satoshi Gogo has set a course for Shenzhen as part of a China tour for his eagerly-anticipated fourth album, Shipmates. Audiences should expect impressive guitar riffs from this international award-winning guitarist.

Since her 2003 breakthrough 'Sakuranbo,' which stayed in the Top 200 Oricon Weekly Singles Chart for almost two years, Ai has captured the hearts of fans. In last year's Love Honey, her eighth studio album, Ai continues her run as Love-chan the Rabbit.

Sun, Aug 19: Xie Chunhua

Following the release of her third solo album Desserts in June of this year, Xie Chunhua comes to Shenzhen for a national tour. Her music is characterized by soft melodies and acoustic accompaniments that leave a lingering sweetness in the air.

Ongoing: Call for Artists

Global chain WeWork are teaming up with That’s Media and Vinylhouse to celebrate both creativity and industry in the city. All artists in Shenzhen are invited to email paintings, photos, or short films (120 seconds or less) that capture moments of "working" to tomasz@guiddo.com. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, August 23, and the winner will be announced at a party on August 25. In addition to fame and glory, the chosen artist will enjoy two weeks’ free membership at WeWork’s CCSS, an extended exhibition of the winning art at Vinylhouse, and an interview profile with That’s Shenzhen.
