May 17-20: Tomorrow Festival @ B10 Live
Every May since 2014 OCT-LOFT imagines the future with this non-mainstream festival featuring experimental, rock, avant-garde, free jazz and world music. Concerts take place each day at B10 Live, with an underground fanzine talk and screening of Here to Be Heard: The Story of the Slits at A3+ on May 19 and 20. Here's the full concert lineup:

May 18: Bloodz Boi @ Oil Club
Beijing electronic brand S!LK is bringing hip hop MC Frank Yang, also known as Bloodz Boi, into town along with Hong Kong rapper Fotan Laiki (one-half of girl group Cooking Bitchess) and DJ Kelvin T, who's self-released seven EPs over a five-year career.

May 18: DJ Yella @ Hangover Club
Don't know DJ Yella? He was once a member of N.W.A. along with Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and others, but after the group's demise, decided to jump into the porn industry. Over 10 years and 300 films later, he's returned to the music world as a DJ – see the multi-talented man a world away from Compton this Friday.

May 19: Mark & Neil's Birthday at Hard Rock Cafe
Rock out in the pool all afternoon then join the art jam downstairs in this celebration of two of Shenzhen's industrious rockers. Free round-trip buses will take you up north and back south for the 2am afterparty at BOA Sea World, then Miami Shawarma till the break of dawn. It's all included in your ticket and includes a half-dozen drinks, a burger of your choice and the gourmet fingerfoods of Sea World's stunning new club.
