SZUMMER PRIDE is fast approaching! That’s PRD is proud to sponsor the third edition of this celebration of diversity in the Pearl River Delta, with a month full of events of all kinds.
June kicks off with a little change to the schedule: instead of a drag brunch to conclude the Bay Area Art Exhibition, organizers are kicking off the exhibit with an opening ceremony on June 2. Scan the QR code to follow SZP and learn the location – as with all the Pride events, the exact location will be shared with guests and fans before each event.
Guests “from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and beyond” are already reported to have purchased tickets for the Wet & Wild parties that will light up Xichong Beach during the Dragon Boat long weekend (June 16-18).
There’s still time to get yours – with online discounts if you prebook now – so you can join the fun. Guests will enjoy a men's and women's swimwear fashion show, free gifts and discounts on more, and “two of the hottest gogos in Asia today, Alex and Susumu ... all the way from Japan, providing a visual feast both day and night,” according to the organizers.
With music from some great DJs – including international Pride favorite DJ Thiago Oliveira – and two days of fun, this should be an unforgettable part of your summer. Book your ticket and get to the pickup point on time – buses leave promptly at 9am to beat the holiday traffic. Then let the team take care of you for the weekend!
