Chicago's turn-of-the-century pop princes are set to rock the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center and carry the Millennials and cuspers among us down memory lane.
Nearly everyone who was a young adult in the 2000s will have a small pang of nostalgia upon hearing Patrick Stump's falsetto on Fall Out Boy's breakout 2005 album From Under the Cork Tree, especially their hit single 'Sugar, We're Goin Down,' arguably one of the most popular mainstream emo songs of all time.
Though they've never flown quite as high since their mid-2000s breakout, and escaped for a years-long hiatus in 2010, FOB's albums continue to top charts and charm sad teenagers. The band's seventh album, Mania, adds some electronic elements to their sound and debuted at #1 on Billboard when it dropped in January.
Check out Mania's trappy single 'Young and Menace' below and compete to win a pair of tickets to see them on May 4.
May 4, 8pm; RMB380-1,280. Shenzhen Bay Sports Center. See event listing. Tickets.
