Shenzhen Easter Brunch and Event Guide 2018

Easter, for many of us, means hunts for brightly painted eggs, the dawn of spring and enough candy for early onset diabetes. Places all across Shenzhen play host to delicious brunches, with fun activities to give both parents and kids some memorable times. The jelly beans and Peeps, though, are on you.

Capri Italian Restaurant (Sheraton Dameisha Resort)

For a seaside family gathering on the day of resurrection, turn to Sheraton Dameisha Resort. While you enjoy a scrumptious seafood brunch with international favorites, children are invited paint eggs, hunt for treasure and enjoy the clowning antics of the day’s entertainment. After brunch, enjoy a day’s relaxation with access to the resort’s fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, kiddie pool and beach.

Apr 1, 11.30am; RMB398 plus 16 percent. Capri Italian Restaurant. See event listing.

Ciao Caro

Choose from a pair of set meal options for Easter. Pick brunch – available all day! – for RMB58 or make it a double date with four set meals discounted to RMB218. Coffee and lemon tea are included, but we wouldn’t hold it against you if Ciao Caro’s range of beers prompted some day drinking.

Apr 1, 11.30am-2.30pm; RMB58 for one, RMB218 for four. Ciao Caro. See event listing.

Activities and Parties

Get the creative juices flowing this Easter with Haxnbauer’s egg painting workshop and do-it-yourself pizza options. Kids get their faces painted in fanciful designs, scampering around hunting those elusive eggs. A fine way to spend a Sunday, indeed. RSVP at 8359 2080.

Apr 1; RMB100. Haxnbauer German Restaurant and Bar. See event listing.

Easter gets a South American twist at Latina, with a Kids Carnaval set to the tunes of a Brazilian band. They’re going all out with cotton candy, face painting, egg painting, bubble machine, games, a magician on hand to amuse and amaze … and of course, the traditional Easter egg hunt. Parents get to sit back and enjoy a BBQ-rich buffet and free flow drinks.

Apr 1, 11am-4pm; RMB100 kids, RMB180 adults. Latina Shenzhen Seaworld. See event listing.

Sessions (Hard Rock Hotel Shenzhen)

The hunt is on for iconic Easter eggs, with prizes for the first to find 10. Little visitors who find an egg also get full access to Roxity Kids Club, while parents enjoy a buy-one-get-one Sunday brunch at Sessions. It’s traditional Easter fun in Longhua New District.

Apr 1, 12-3pm; RMB296.4 for two. Hard Rock Hotel Shenzhen. See event listing.
