Starbucks Debuts Buy-1-Get-1-Free 'Happy Hour' in China

If 'happy hour' buy-one-get-one-free beer deals just aren’t your cup of tea, then perhaps a buy-one-get-one promotion on Starbucks beverages is more your pace.

For the remaining Tuesdays and Thursdays in March (the 20th, 22nd, 27th and 29th), from 6-8pm, Starbucks patrons can enjoy a free beverage with the purchase of select coffees and bottled drinks. The second, free beverage must be of equal or lesser value.

Starbucks Club members holding a valid membership card can enjoy the happy hour deal an hour earlier then regular folks, starting from 5pm.

As best we can tell from this WeChat post, the deal is available almost nationwide. Stores in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai will not be participating. To avoid disappointment, though, we recommend contacting your local Starbucks to ensure they are partaking in the promo (just in case…).

We hope you enjoy this happy hour deal as much as we will, because, sometimes, one double chocolate chip Frappuccino just isn’t enough.
