Future Mix: 20th Anniversary
The end of 2017 is worth celebrating on its own, but this year we're also celebrating the 20th anniversary of a Shenzhen Techno/EDM party pioneer: Future Mix. Ni Bing's brainchild brought the world's hip hop and electronic superstars to our city and they're turning New Year's Eve into an anniversary that brings out the very best. Berlin's Mijk Van Dijk and Japan's Galcid join Chinese musical masters like Mansun Lui, Lanx, and MHP in a two-day extravaganza. The afterparty picks up at Oil at 11pm.

Midi Festival 2017/18
New Year’s is a time for reflection, resolutions and, for many, reckless, unrepentant boozing. For music lovers in Shenzhen, the end of the year heralds the return of Shenzhen New Year’s Midi Festival, the annual concert series which sees both local and global talent hit the stage in Longgang District. While past Midi Festival lineups have impressed us, we are very excited to see Finnish rockers Ensiferum bring their fantastical brand of melodic folk metal to South China.
