Products come from designers in the US and Europe, and include aesthetically pleasing prosthetics, smart textiles and an artificial womb.
Dec 8: Fazi at B10 Live
Not to be confused with the national socialist group of similar initials, this is a post-punk band formed in Xi'an in 2010. Their press material says their music is both angry and calm and will cause you to have emotions – but a YouTube search reveals a band with a practiced sound and a lead singer with stage presence. Fazi’s new album will be available for purchase, including on vinyl.
We're giving away tickets to this concert! Message our official WeChat account (ThatsShenzhen) at least three days before the show and tell us why you should win!
Dec 9: Captivating Santa Run

Dec 9: Early Christmas Gathering at The Westin Shenzhen Nanshan

Dec 9: 3rd Shenzhen White Collar Charity Fight Night
Shenzhen's well-loved fight night is back for a third round. Previous bouts saw several pairs of first-time fighters, both male and female, train before facing off in the ring. With a four-course meal as well as wine and champagne available to guests, it's a chance to have fun while helping a good cause: the fight night benefits local NGO One Foundation. Tickets for this year's event, featuring nine fights, are going fast. For inquiries and bookings, add WeChat ID 'jewelli8899.'
Dec 9: Wang Feng at Shenzhen Bay Sports Center
Married early and often, Wang Feng is a legendary Chinese rock musician and composer, with his artistry crafting a series of iconic Chinese anthems like ‘Beijing, Beijing!’ and other hits you can likely hum, if not sing. Recently settling into a role as a coach on The Voice of China, Wang’s popularity as a singer and guitarist has only grown since.
Dec 9: ZIP Improv Comedy Holiday Special
See a holiday-themed show from the ZIP improv group, featuring Santa jokes, zany games and more. As usual, there'll be plenty of chances for audience members to get involved. Plus, stick around afterwards for a casual birthday celebration of one of the members.
Dec 9: Philharmonic of Wit at Shenzhen Concert Hall
This comedy project was created in 2005 in Poland to integrate classical music, pop music and comedy skits. Shows consist of classical music ‘presented in pop style’ to create a stage show unlike anything else in the world.
Dec 10: Romeo and Juliet at Children's Palace
TNT Theatre Britain is known for bringing original musical scores to classic plays – and Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is no exception. Expect the lines you know and love coupled with toe-tapping tunes and world-class acting.
