November 24-December 3: Shenzhen Fringe Festival
The city's 8th Fringe Festival brings 500 artists from around China and the world to Shenzhen's Nanshan District. Over the span of over a week, sample all kinds of quirky art and performances, from dance to 'living statues' to plays and even a circus, all wrapped up with a parade down Shenzhen Bay Street on Sunday afternoon. All events are free to enter, although some require registration in advance. More information and the full schedule here.

November 28: Single Malt Whisky Tasting at George & Dragon

November 30: Shark MixC Grand Opening Buffet

December 1: Jessie J and Flo Rida Concert (CANCELED)
UPDATE (November 28, 2017 at 5.42pm CST): Concert organizers have announced that the show is canceled due to "unavoidable circumstances owing to unforeseen issues pertaining to local production." Refunds will be available for those who already purchased tickets. Read more here.
British Jessie J has been riding the charts since before her song ‘Domino’ became an international earworm, thanks to her unusual method of mixing soul and pop. Flo Rida has been bringing Southern hip hop to the masses since his 2008 hit smash ‘Low.’ Now's your chance to see both superstars in Shenzhen.

December 1: Movember Mo Down at Dolores Park
This Friday marks the end of Movember, the monthlong charity event that encourages men to grow out their 'staches. For a suggested donation of RMB50, get a clean shave, plus enjoy live bagpipes and Jing A beer specials all night long. Commemorative t-shirts from M-stash will also be available for pre-order, all for a good cause. Event supported by That's PRD.

December 1: 'The Legend of Chopin' Concert
Dang Thai Son is a Vietnamese-Canadian classical pianist. He was the Gold Medalist at the Tenth International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland, in 1980. As might be expected, Son has received particular acclaim for his interpretations of the works of Chopin.

December 1: Qipao Party at The Terrace

December 2: Mamonahi Theatre Presents The Grey Life, Relationship
Filled up on holiday cheer? How about a free stage production about modern-day consumerist unease? We buy, we consume and we remain unsatisfied as we destroy the planet – or so one piece is introduced. Mamonahi presents two immersive plays, The Grey Life and Relationship, examining modern life’s more existential questions.

December 2: Muzikbox Relaunch Party at Barber Shop
Muzikbox is back with a party featuring Li Weimin, who cut his teeth in Shenzhen's burgeoning electronic music scene in the 90s before playing festivals and founding his own label. There'll also be face painting and Super Nintendo, all for free if you share the flyer on WeChat.

December 2: G.E.M. Concert
In 2016 G.E.M. became the only Asian ranked on Forbes' 30 under 30 for music – an accomplishment that suits her career, which took root in Hong Kong before spreading to Chinese mainland After her first album in 2008, she has been behind a string of hits, playing guitar and keyboard in addition to singing on stage.
