There are few activities as cheery and carefree as dancing like you just don’t give a damn, but a woman in Dongguan took the concept a step too far when she decided to get groovy on the middle of a busy highway.

According to Tencent News, her performance began on Guanzhang Lu around 10am on July 24, when an anonymous informer saw the woman, in a pink dress and matching slippers, dancing happily in the middle of the street with her arms spread wide.

Photos show cars veering dangerously into adjacent lanes to avoid hitting the woman, while she appears to show little reaction to the oncoming traffic.

The reckless behavior has left reporters questioning whether or not she is of sound mental health, although the reason for her stunt is unknown.

Media reports were unclear as to whether the woman made it off the road safely, but no evidence from the photos suggests that she had been hit. Perhaps she will show up again, busting a move on the pavement of another Dongguan neighborhood.
