Although the mayhem of Typhoon Merbok has passed, Guangdong residents can expect at least another week of rain, heat and humidity.
In Guangzhou the temperature will vary from 26 to 33 degrees Celsius over the next seven days, with rain forecast for all of them. Thunderstorms are anticipated today and tomorrow, as well as June 26, 27 and 28.
The next week will see temperatures in Shenzhen vary from 27 to 32 degrees Celsius. Rain is currently forecast for each of the next seven days, with thunderstorms expected today and June 26-28.
Beyond the seven-day forecast, the rain and heat are likely to continue for another week past next Wednesday, according to data from the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau.
