May 31: Immanu El 'Hibernation' Tour

Swedish group Immanu El are masters of the dream pop genre. Besides headlining festivals in Europe and the US, they also appeared in 2013's Strawberry Festival. They've returned to China to tour for their latest album, Hibernation, created with the help of a Grammy-nominated producer. Buy tickets here.

June 1: Firestone Walker Night at Evil Duck

Adrian Walker, of the Californian award-winning brewery Firestone Walker, is visiting Shenzhen to talk to fans of the brand's hoppy brews. Sample Firestone walker beer and receive other merchandise at the event, which is sure to be a big one for craft beer lovers.

June 1: Children's Day Dinner Buffet at Nanshan Kitchen

June 3-4: AIFA and SFSM International Youth Tournament 2017 Shenzhen

AIFA and SFSM International Youth Tournament 2017 Shenzhen China, with the support of Urban Family, will take place at Degrantin Sports Football Pitch on June 3 and 4. There will be six different age categories from 'under 7' to 'under 12,' more than 45 international teams from Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Guangzhou and over 500 kids playing a football tournament in a fair and fun environment. Donations of old or used sneakers and cleats will be accepted during the tournament.

June 3: Twisted Machine at B10 Live

This top Chinese rock band was founded in 1998 and remains one of the biggest draws at mainland music festivals. Major influencers of Chinese rock, they purvey in nu metal, mixing English and Chinese lyrics with a rap-metal delivery. Think System of a Down making out with Linkin Park as Metallica plays on the stereo.
