Shenzhen may seem as far away from Ireland as possible, both culture and geography-wise, but don't let that stop you from celebrating good old St. Patrick's Day the 'right' way, with nonstop drinking and partying.

Blu Bamboo
The Seaworld sports bar is offering 20 percent off all food from 6-10pm, followed by alcohol specials from 11pm-midnight. A pint of green beer, a shot of Jameson, Heineken/Tiger and mixed drinks are each only RMB25. If you're feeling fancy, get a bottle of red or white wine for RMB150.

Brew Magic Pub
For a more authentic holiday experience, check out a group of musicians at Brew Magic who'll be performing Irish music on traditional instruments from 7pm onwards. Refresh yourself with RMB15 cans of Guinness, plus homemade bread and smoked chicken.

Evil Duck
The new Craft Head takes its holidays seriously. Their St. Patrick's Day specials include not only 'tri-color meat and stout pie' (RMB69) plus Bailey's frosted cupcakes (RMB30), but also Irish stout (RMB35), Jameson (3 for RMB100) and an 'Evil Duck emerald mule' (RMB45). In addition, there'll be Irish musicians and 'special prizes' at the bar all weekend long.

George & Dragon
Load up before a long night out at George & Dragon, which is offering a deal on an Irish-inspired set meal. If corned beef and soda bread aren't your thing, you can always fall back on green beer (RMB25 a pint), RMB10 jello shots, and RMB30 shots of Jameson or Bailey's Irish Cream.

This St. Patrick's Day, RMB250 gets you five drinks (choose from Guiness, Kilkenny, and Magners Cider) at any McCawley's location in Shenzhen. If you show off your Irish pride by wearing green, you can also score a free t-shirt.

New Orleans Kitchen
Important things first: New Orleans Kitchen is offering free Tiger beer from 6-7pm. If you stick around you can also snag a pretty sweet deal on food, with two Guinness pies, fries and two green jello shots going for RMB60. There's also a towering 750 milliliter 'Shamrock Sipper' drink which you can order to-go if you're in a hurry.

The Pub
Everyone who stops by The Pub on St. Patrick's Day dressed in green gets a free NB Vanilla Coffee Stout. Additional stouts can be bought for RMB30 each, while lemongrass and lime sodas are going for just RMB28.

A heads up to true drink connoisseurs: the downtown brewpub is offering 'real green beer' (RMB30 for 180 milliliters), flavored with woodruff and only available in limited quantities. Irish coffee will be RMB68 per cup and all Irish whiskeys are 20 percent off. There'll also be live music starting at 9.30pm.

The nightclub is going all out for the holiday. Drink specials run from 5-10pm, and include free whiskey shots every 15 minutes and a buy-one-get-one-free deal on beer, wine and mixed drinks. If you're still standing at 10pm, you can enter in some drinking games or a costume contest. Prizes for the contest winners are, of course, alcohol and vouchers for more drinks.
