That’s PRD and the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen are inviting 10 That’s readers to join an exclusive and glamorous VIP dinner at Belle-Vue for only RMB350.
The culinary event is aimed at promoting the restaurant’s ‘Une Histoire Francaise’ set menu, a four-course meal with wine pairings, which will run from Tuesday to Sunday, 6-10pm, from March 1 until the end of April.
Normally costing guests RMB500 plus a 15 percent service charge (not including wine), the menu features signature starters including traditional French classics such as duck rillettes, flambéed bay scallop and foie gras terrine. The thoughtfully designed menus (there is also a six-course menu for RMB700) similarly feature refined versions of main courses such as coq au vin, beef bourguignon and pan-seared lamb loin.
Dessert selections offer fresh interpretations of favorites such as apple terrine, chocolate fondant and crêpe flambé.
In orchestrating a complete dining experience, Chef Marcelo has rekindled the romance of classic table-side cooking. In the characteristic ambience of a themed dining area, all tables are tended to by designated cooking stations, at which many of the dishes are prepared a la minute in front of guests to ensure quality and add a touch of drama.
