Shenzheners were treated to a phenomenal sky last night after their first day back to work following a weeklong Chinese New Year holiday. The blood-red clouds that loomed over the city seemed to confirm the urban legend that smog enhances the beauty of a sunset – or at least produces unnatural hues due to man-made aerosols and particles suspended in the sky.
