Police in Foshan were recently forced to fire warning shots at a car being recklessly driven by a half-naked man under the influence of drugs, according to the Daily Mail.

The incident, which happened on January 28, was filmed and then posted online. The footage shows a red car doing donuts in an intersection – forcing other vehicles to swerve out of the way.

Two police cars attempted – unsuccessfully – to block the rogue car, after which two warning shots were fired. When the vehicle eventually came to a stop, the man was dragged from the driver’s seat, restrained and arrested by responding officers.

Officers told reporters they collected a urine sample from the suspect and could confirm he was under the influence of drugs. The man has been sentenced to 15 days in detention and will then be sent to a drug rehab center for two years.

Authorities have not said what type of drug the man was found to be using.
