January 16-22: Exhibition of Selected Works by He Xiangning
Named after a revolutionary poet and painter, the He Xiangning Art Museum reopened in November 2016, displaying 39 pieces of Chinese artwork with a focus on the traditional.

January 17: Contemporary Arts Dance
B.Park is presenting a unique night of dance this week, featuring both local and international talent. After the show, guests can hang around for a rad after-party to mingle and meet new friends. One free daiquiri will be provided to each guest.

January 20: 'Urban Villagers' Opening
Back from a December show in Taipei, photographer Mike Jordan’s photo exhibition of Shenzhen’s urban villages has returned to its natural environment – the city’s Baishizhou area. Being held at Magma, don’t miss the opening day of this art show, which will feature beats by DJ Volkov.

January 21: Metallica
Formed in 1981 in Los Angeles, Metallica has come a long way from their garage days with eight Grammy Awards, three Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards and millions of records sold. Last year, they roared back with their first album in eight years.Metallica will bring their eleventh studio album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct to fans in Hong Kong this week.

January 21: FTISLAND Live
FTISLAND is a five-member Korean band that debuted in June 2007 and rose rapidly to fame in Korea. Now, they are hitting Hong Kong with their latest album, Where’s the Truth. After nine years of honing their stage performances, fans can expect FTISLAND to put on a sophisticated showing.
