That's PRD takes a look at the best of the week:
January 12: Carmen
The Ballet Flamenco de Madrid, a non-profit cultural association founded in 2001, tells the saddening love story of Carmen in rhythmic, passionate flamenco. After treating audiences to more than 2,500 performances worldwide, the Ballet Flamenco de Madrid is coming on stage this week in Shenzhen to present Carmen.
January 12: Fuckup Nights
Fuckup Nights is a global movement to share business failure stories. They'll be holding regular events where entrepreneurs discuss their biggest failures so that people can learn from them (and hopefully have a laugh). This week’s event will feature three speakers sharing miserable business experiences.
January 13: Joe Nice
Shenzhen is getting a visit from an American dubstep legend! The founder of New York’s ‘Dub War’ club night, Joe Nice performs regularly in New York, London (including at scene pillar DMZ) and other major global metropolises. Don’t miss this brilliant chance to see him live!
January 14: Joanna Wang
Promoting her first album in six years, Joanna Wang is bringing her jazz-inspired originals to Shenzhen. Her stage shows are known for their excellent presentation and narrative storylines.
January 14: Frequency Silent Disco
Frequency Silent Disco is back, bringing three excellent DJs to Mars Live House for your enjoyment. Come to light up your weekend with the grooves of Redrom, Nuwhite and Kenson!
January 14: Meng Zhi
Do you love jazz? If so, then missing legendary Chinese musician Meng Zhi is simply not acceptable! He will bring his memorable body of work to Brown Sugar Jar this week to knock the socks off Shenzhen’s jazz lovers!
January 15: Chris Garneau
This American singer-songwriter will perform music from his new album, which combines elements of folk, Americana and pop.
