Shenzhen Craft Beer Festival is on now and there is still time to check it out at SoFunLand! Bigger and better this year, the festival has attracted brewers from as far afield as Chengdu.
"Who doesn’t like to drink outside on a nice comfortable day?" says Joe Finkenbinder, festival organizer and owner of Bionic Brew. Finkenbinder pointed out the family-friendly nature of the event.
"Last night was a little low-key," says fest-goer Ankit Sheorain about the two-day event, which finishes at 11pm today. "All the vendors have been on thier game, I've waited less than a minute for a drink."
Music started at 3pm and will last until 10pm, with a DJ set by Tayta currently and Lazy Cat taking the stage from 9-10pm.
Food vendors are serving pizza, ribs and other snacks. Tickets are RMB80 and include one free beer.
"We've heard about these breweries before, but never had a chance to try their beer," says Emmy Andreasson, event manager for Beijing-based Jing-A Brewery. "Some beer festivals are very big, but this is limited, it gives you a chance to try everything."
