May 4: Mai Mai Mai
On May 4, Mai Mai Mai, the Italian musician, will bring an eclectic mix of sounds to Shenzhen – including a fusion of drone and ambient, steamy technoid rhythmics, percussions, field recordings and sound-scapes. This concert is sure to lead attendees through ancient and arcane ages – bridging the divide between East and West.

May 5: Thierry Maillard Trio Reunion Tour
Add some color to your life with an evening of French jazz at B10 Live. The music will lighten you up and help usher in the wild winds of summer.

May 6: Shark Sea World’s Mediterranean Breeze Party
Carefree Mediterranean vibes – and delicious seafood – are breezing their way into Shenzhen this spring, with the launch of Shark Sea World’s new spring and summer menu.
If you are as excited as we are about this new menu, then attending Shark Sea World’s Mediterranean Breeze Party on May 6 is an absolute must. The event will run from 7-10pm, with two seating times – 6.30pm and 8.30pm. On May7-8, Shekou I-Factory will host the biggest indoor party with the largest dance floor in Shenzhen – featuring some a number of Top 100 DJs, including R3HAB and Gary Tao.

May 8: Filmmaking Workshops for Beginners
Learn how to edit your videos and films using iMovie or Adobe Premiere, use editing cuts to best tell your story (including advice from Hollywood editors on their best practices) and to create basic introduction and credit animations.

May 8: Tan Dun’s Martial Arts Trilogy
The world famous composer and conductor Tan Dun will be in Shenzhen to preform soundtracks from popular martial arts movies. The recipient of both Grammy Awards and Oscar Original Music Awards, Tan will help you dive into the action, with energizing beats telling stories of challenge, victory and bravery.
