Pulled pork poutine, gourmet burgers, jalapeno poppers and inception shots are coming to Shenzhen! That’s right hungry reader, The Brew Bar & Bistro is opening a Shenzhen location this summer.
Renowned in Guangzhou for live music, bargain happy hour specials and a recently redesigned menu – the Shenzhen expansion will be located in Futian District’s Central Walk Mall.
According to restaurant management, the new location will be open in July and will be overseen by General Manager and Executive Chef Kevin McKellar – who currently manages Guangzhou’s three Brew locations.
"Shenzhen is the closest big city to Guangzhou and has an affluent Chinese community plus a good-sized expat community. We also have close ties to the rugby club and many friends in Shenzhen," said Sean Maj, one of The Brew’s proprietors, in regards to the new location. "It just seemed like a good fit for the brand."
If The Brew Shenzhen is anything like its Guangzhou counterparts, Shenzheners can expect a lot of hearty meals, boozy escapades and hazy mornings.
