As the world’s leading maker of unmanned aerial vehicles, DJI introduced the new ‘Phantom 4’ drone last Saturday at its flagship store in OCT Harbor, Nanshan District.
The new quadcopter boasts a number of advanced features, including: new stability functions, optical sensors (for avoiding obstacles), a redesigned 4K camera and longer battery life – for a total flight time of 28 minutes.
Compared to earlier versions, this new vehicles also adds TapFly Touch-Based Flight Control Mode. This feature allows pilots to dictate a destination for their drone by simply tapping a spot on a touch screen.
“The new features make the drones easier to use to allow inexperienced users quickly to be drone pilots,” DJI CEO Qiao Yan told Shenzhen Daily.

“We have a special offer online, where you get a discount for returning your old drone," a DJI store staff member informed That’s. "Phantom 4 is also for presale online, you can pay through our official website or through the Apple Store.”
DJI, based in Shenzhen, started its drone business in 2006 and, after 10 years of development, the company has now expanded worldwide.
