Xu Feiyu to LISA ONO 10/16 & 10/17
Latino romance will eventually come down to Bossa Nova. Where it is based on the casual and lyrical rhythm of Bossa Nova, and most importantly, Bossa Nova has influenced the whole world and attracted the whole world to be a fan of it. Yet Lisa Ono, is the best describer of the modern Bossa Nova. With the immigration and musical history of Japan and Brazil, Lisa Ono became one of the early Japanese believers of Bossa Nova. She brought the passion of music and love of Brazil back to Japan. She hoped her tunes can make people realize the musical miracles that Brazil made. Sunshine, wind, and music. Since her debut on 1989, Lisa Ono had always been the representation of Bossa Nova in Japan. From the pop music of the west, Hawaiian tunes, Italian folklore, Arabic songs, even some Chinese songs, had all became a representation of Bossa Nova.
10/16 & 10/17, this is a show for Lisa Ono, but more of a self realization from Xu Feiyu.
