Bloodz boi
Not every day you hear of an artist with a unique story likewise to that of Chinese rapper Bloodz Boi. His fascinating tear-jerking music is undermined by an oppressive government that despises Hip-Hop is a sentiment many Chinese artists have to endure. The theme of being outcasted as an underdog and “devilish” are among the many insults Bloodz Boi have to endure as a rapper in China. China’s crackdown on rap, metal, and “unconventional genres” are a major obstacle the talented Bloodz Boi constantly has to push through. The only way he can get any form of creative freedom is through a VPN he frequently uses. As he states in the interview he dubs it as his only golden horn of creative freedom for him. This interview is on an extremely touchy subject and Bloodz Boi English isn’t the best, however, he managed to articulate himself the best he could. - culnessco
