Merry Christmas, Everyone! The Book Exchange Library is happening for the very last time in 2019, December 26, from 7pm to 9pm, come browse books, meet people and exchange ideas.
As per usual, you are welcome to drop by anytime and do a quick book run or you can spend some time with us reading, chatting and all that fun stuff we do. Wearing a Santa hat and singing Christmas carols is encouraged too!

The Book Exchange is Shenzhen's biggest expat library, with around 800 English books and 200 Chinese/foreign language ones.


During events, their collection is opened up for checkouts, returns, discussions, and the occasional special event.


• Run on volunteer power and hosted at a community center, they are always free and open to the public. No cover charge, no need to bring a book (although donations are always welcome).


• Drop by anytime during the events. You can make a quick book run or hang out for hours, it's entirely up to you.
