In honor of Women’s History Month we'll discuss representation of female authors in our collection starting at around 5pm.

Our ‘classics’ section, for example, is heavily weighted towards male authors. We’ll talk about what makes certain books ‘masterpieces’ and preconceptions as well as misconceptions about female authors. Finally, we’ll vote on which books, written by women or not, deserve to be recategorized as ‘classics.’

For the duration of the event, our library will be open for checkouts and returns.

Directions:
We’re inside an apartment complex called Shuiwei Xin Jiayuan (水围新家园). Once inside, walk all the way to the back, past the fountain, and we’ll be on the right.
