Nie Lie’s art pieces mostly involve elements from nature, such as wildlands, fire, ducks, naked women, the moon and wild beasts. But instead of showing just the peacefulness of nature, Nie also tends to feature objects often deemed conflicting to nature. These objects, when juxtaposed with those nature elements, creates a harmony and relation that may usually seem unlikely to exist.
