Shenzhen Stories is a monthly live event whose goal is to foster international community through stories told by the people we share this diverse, amazing, and unique city. Each month we celebrate stories based around a different theme each month. Each and every one of these stories are true; experienced and told by your fellow Shenzhenites.

This month's theme is BEST LAID PLANS. Sometimes the plans we make don't quite go as planned. The result can be hilarious, heart-breaking, inspiring, or just down right strange. We seek to celebrate all of these experiences.

For this event, we are are partnering with the International Shenzhen Artist Forum to combine oral storytelling with visual storytelling. We are setting several artists loose to draw what they hear! Maybe it's the speakers, maybe it's the audience, maybe it's a portrait or maybe it's an abstraction of story. We don't know! Please join us on the 19th to see what they concoct and to hear more amazing stories from your amazing neighbors!
