Taiwan’s Cicada was formed in 2009, consisting of violin, cello, acoustic guitar and piano. Their earliest albums personified the land and the ocean around them, while their latest music turns its attention to the fauna of the world. "White Forest" is dedicated to the animals of the coral reefs, sea turtles, humpback whales, dolphins, as well as cats of the city and birds of the mountains, portraying the relationship between human and ocean and its impact on these other lives.
