What Type of Foreign Volunteers Are Needed?

A-  Scuba Divers: Scuba Divers are required to clean the ocean floor. Volunteers must have a AOW Licence or above and have proof of record of 30+ dives using cylinders.

B- Coastal Cleaners: Anyone can volunteer for this activity to help clean the rubbish off the beaches and shoreline. The more hands the better!!

Application for Scuba Divers 

Application Deadline: September 8

Requirements:

- 12 or above old years, with AOW License or above, and used 30+ diving cylinders (30 or more diving records).

- With the ability to help yourself in danger, and cooperate with others for help, at least a skilled use of a swim posture.

- Bring your own diving equipment, and a compass, divers knife and divers watch, etc. We only provide Gas bottle and weights.

 Agenda for Scuba Divers 

1) 1.30-2pm 

Registration: Sign or correct an exemption clause to state they volunteer to join in the activity. Check Scuba Diving License (AOW, or above).

2) 2-2.40pm 

Divers prepare their diving equipment, take photos, etc.

3) 2.40-2.50pm 

Diver representative speech

4) 2.50-3.10pm 

Explain safety instructions and cleaning tasks and schedule

5) 3.10-3.40pm 

Sea bottom cleaning

6) 3.40-4pm 

Divers come back and weigh garbage. Issue certificates and take team pictures

7) 4-4.30pm 

End of the Activies

Transportation

1) You can drive there, and also take public transport. We just suggest that you choose the latter.

2) Public transport: From Shekou Port station, take Metro Line 2 to Huangbeiling station exit D, and then transfer No. 1 sightseeing bus to East OCT station (or Mei Sha Street Station). Walk about 800 miles to Dameisha Seaside Park.
