We will meet at Shenzhen's Wenjin Station, Line 9, Exit A at 9am.
ComeToChina welcomes friends from around the world to a local Chinese-style tea house to learn about tea culture with a tea ceremony teacher. Experience and learn how to prepare Wulong tea using traditional ancient methods.
Guest will all get hands-on experience on how to use tea sets and utensils. Expect a taste test of different kinds of tea like Wulong, black, red, and green tea. Afterward, there will be a tea pouring competition among guests to see who has the best skills, and the winner will take home a special prize.
Traditional Chinese costumes will also be provided for guests who want to a memorable photograph of their tea experience. There will be a live Guzheng performance: Guzheng is an ancient Chinese stringed instrument that dates back more than 2500 years and is a perfect pairing for the whole tea experience.
To finish off, everybody will be gifted with a jar of red tea. Guest are welcome to bring their own favorite tea and to share with everybody.
We welcome all families to this event. All children below the age of 12 years old accompanied by an adult will have free admission, but hands-on tea experience and costume experience cannot be provided to children.
