New Noise is very proud to present a four city China tour by legendary indie band “The Notwist”. Since their formation in 1989, The Notwist has risen to the top become one of Germany’s most important bands. Their album Neon Golden celebrates its 15th birthday this year. In 2009, it was named one of the 'top 200 albums of the 2000s' by Pitchfork. The Notwist have been playing Europe’s biggest festivals and are signed to Subpop Records and Morr Music.

During their career The Notwist have been praised for their groundbreaking work in introducing indietronica in Europe. They blend electronic beats, pulsing waves, a mixture of organic instruments and digital blips and loops, all with the serenity of Markus Acher’s voice added in.Their music leaves you mesmerised, lost in meditative thought and captivated by the grainy, exquisite textures.
