In two years, Urban Aphrodite has emerged as a major force in Shanghai's theater world through adaptations of award-winning plays like Doubt (A Parable)The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) and most recently, The Last Five Years. They've been dabbling with film adaptations of awhile like Rosemary's Baby but are taking their boldest step yet, with a live and immersive take on Fight Club.

Bold souls that we are, we've completed ignored Rule 1 and Rule 2 to take you behind the scenes of Fight Club. For more, check out our feature on the show which runs from May 2-7 at Arkham. A film by Nicky Almasy in association with That's Shanghai.
