WATCH: How to Be a Successful Laowai (NSFW-ish)

The folks over at Bored Bloke Animation Studios have given us a delightfully detailed guide on how to become a 'successful' laowai in Shanghai, by explaining where to live, where to party and who to 'bang.'

Proclaiming the Bund to be "The only place for party," the video is almost definitely a tongue-in-cheek jibe directed at many of the city's glitterati. However, there are certain tips that are far more advisable, such as "Get yourself on Laowai media," with the well-named It's Shanghai a top suggestion.

The animation is brought to both the successful and unsuccessful laowai out there by creative director George Lobo, animator Joe Nafis and co-writer Will Haglen.
