Rumors of The Killers coming to Shanghai have been circulating for some time now, well get out your calendars folks...they're coming Oct 3 to the Mercedes-Benz Arena. (They'll be in Beijing on the 1 if you happen to be up yonder).

But the date you really need to keep an eye on is August 16, when tickets go on sale.

It's the first China tour for the foursome - they were supposed to come three years ago on their Asia World Tour, but it was cancelled - so we hope they'll come back with a musical vengeance ready to be served.

Since their start, the group has sold over 15 million copies of their three albums, won NME and BRIT Awards and been nominated for a Grammy. Composed of members Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci, they draw influence from the music styles of the 1980s. So hardcore and rock'n'roll.

// Oct 3, RMB280-1,280. Mercedes-Benz Arena. To book tickets visit www.damai.cn or call 400 610 3721.
