The all-new Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at Hangzhou Centre has officially opened, inviting guests to experience a seamless blend of history and modernity. Positioned at the edge of Hangzhou's vibrant Wulin Square, the hotel's gleaming tower provides easy access to iconic sites such as the Grand Canal and West Lake, whether by foot, car, or boat.
Rising from the 19th to 29th floors, the 188 guest rooms and 26 suites offer sweeping views of the city, Grand Canal, and West Lake. Designed by Avalon Collective, the rooms embody a modern interpretation of classic Chinese design motifs, creating light, airy spaces with cutting-edge technology and thoughtful details for comfort and style. Starting in late September, suite guests will have exclusive access to the Executive Club Lounge, where they can enjoy refreshments throughout the day and a complimentary hour of boardroom use per stay, subject to availability.
Dining Experiences at the New Four Seasons
The hotel debuts four distinctive dining venues, offering a culinary journey through international and local flavors. Three restaurants are now open, with the rooftop bar, Stars, to follow later this fall.
Song (颂)
Led by Chinese Executive Chef Neal Zeng, Song offers a modern take on Ningbo cuisine, with a menu centered on fresh seafood from the Jiangsu and Zhejiang coasts. Signature dishes include Marinated Soft-Boiled Egg with Crab Meat and Rice Wine, Simmered Yellow Croaker Soup with Preserved Vegetables, and Braised Pork with Nori. Over 200 New and Old World wines have been carefully curated to complement the culinary offerings.
Charm (韵)
Transforming throughout the day, Charm starts with an expansive international breakfast, moves to Western dishes with a farm-to-table twist for lunch, and ends the day with an interactive Cantonese-style hot pot experience, showcasing the finest seafood and beef cuts. The hot pots are crafted by Executive Chef Jerome Deconinck and Chef Sheng Lin, adding a special touch with their secret seasoning.
The Lounge (桂)
Located on the 10th floor, The Lounge is an elegant space for afternoon teas and evening cocktails, enhanced by the creations of Executive Pastry Chef Billy Xu. The Lounge also offers a Sky Garden for al fresco dining and takeaway options like Xu’s signature French madeleines.
Stars (繁星)
Opening this fall, Stars will be a glittering rooftop bar on the 30th floor, designed by Kokai Studio. Head Bartender William Zhu will craft tiki-style cocktails inspired by ancient navigators, using fresh local ingredients. The bar will also feature a selection of the finest Champagnes, with the sparkling Hangzhou skyline as the backdrop.
Wellness and Fitness
On the 18th floor, the Spa and Wellness Centre integrates modern skincare with Traditional Chinese Medicine principles. Signature treatments include a smoke-free moxibustion experience that enhances blood flow and boosts the immune system through heat application rather than burning. The Spa also features advanced Ballancer technology for lymphatic circulation, Kate Somerville facials, acoustic resonance healing, and personalized couples' pampering packages.
Guests can participate in guided yoga sessions, private swimming lessons focused on form and posture, or fitness training with a professional coach using Technogym equipment. The wellness facilities also include a 25 x 7-meter indoor pool and a 24/7 fitness center. Local residents and frequent travelers can benefit from the Spa membership program for extended access to these amenities.
