QT Kitchen, the all-day-dining restaurant at Shangri-La Qiantan, Shanghai is offering up a new global gourmet-inspired buffet for lunch and dinner, as well as a leisurely Sunday brunch experience.

The diverse menu is designed by the hotel’s Executive Chef William Ong. Originally from Singapore, he has brought his own recipes for authentic Southeast Asian delicacies such as Nyonya Seafood Laksa, Seafood Tom Yum Soup, and Singaporean Chili Prawns.
The hotel’s all-day-dining restaurant brings together multiple open kitchens that serve a selection of international cuisines and traditional favorites.

There’s a central selection to begin with cold dishes – a like salads, cheeses and charcuteries, plus traditional Chinese starters – followed by a selection of Shanghainese warm dishes – like soups, dumplings and noodles.

There’s also a large fresh seafood station with fresh sashimi, sushi and an expansive spread of seafood.
The Mediterranean and Western station sees the likes of roasted meats, beef and salmon Wellingtons, pastas, pizzas, risottos and more.
While the southeast Asian inspired station serves up some of the best Singaporean laksa and Thai curries in town.

The restaurant design is inspired by classic Shanghai residential architecture – or shikumen – encouraging guests to embrace Shanghainese culture and eat like a local.
The spacious, light-filled, and relaxed ambiance of QT Kitchen also offers an expansive terrace for outdoor dining.

In addition to the daily buffet spread, the Sunday brunch features a selection of egg dishes, pastas of the day in a Parmigiano Reggiano wheel, and refreshing specialty beverages on the 'Energy Refuel Station' – including options such as fruit punches, bubble tea and freshly-squeezed juices.
Brunch also includes pass-around specialties like grilled rock lobster with mayo-mozzarella cheese sauce, char-grilled tomahawk steak, slow braised red wine beef short ribs, beef Wellington, and a specialty dessert trolley – each a culinary delight that promises a sensational journey for your taste buds.

For those who appreciate fine beverages, the Lazy Sunday brunch offers exceptional value with an additional fee of RMB108 per person, allowing guests to enjoy free-flowing sparkling wine, selected wines, special cocktails and beers during brunch hours.
