That's Shanghai Halloween Party @ Xouk

Spooky music. Spine-chilling decor. Creepy drinks. And awesome prizes on offer for the best dressed. It’s that time of year for ghoulish get-ups, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Once again, That’s Shanghai is hosting a hell of a bash, as we join forces with Xouk in Sinar Mas Plaza on Saturday, October 29.

Pre-order tickets are just RMB140, which includes entry to all of the above freaky fun, and RMB140 worth of F&B tickets, which can be exchanged for mixed drinks, beer, soft drinks and food.

Last year, people rocked up in full costume, dancing on tables well into the wee hours of the morning to old school hip hop and classic tunes from throughout the decades, from the 80s all the way to 2020.

After 209 days of closure, and with The Blarney Stone still closed for the foreseeable future, Roy and the Blarney Stone team will be heading down to the Camel x Smokehouse this Friday from 4pm to pour some drinks and catch up with the Blarney Stone regulars.

There will be specials on drinks (RMB25 wine and Carlsberg and RMB50 Guinness) and Roy will be mixing up some of his favorite Blarney cocktails and playing his music playlist, and he will have a special gift for Blarney regulars who come to say hi to him.

Catrina is one of the most iconic characters in Mexican culture. In this three-hour workshop you will have the opportunity to learn the story behind them, at the same time as transforming your old Barbie into one!

Have fun designing and styling their outfit ,hair and makeup, and then display it in an exhibition at 889 Plaza on October 29.

Boobs & Brains is a lady quiz focused on learning about ladies, promoting women-owned local businesses in Shanghai and fundraising for great causes – all whilst having a laugh!

To date, Boobs & Brains has raised over RMB45,000 for charitable organizations such as Lifeline, CCS and EGRC – helping those who need it most.

And it is back with a bang this Saturday, this edition raising awareness and funds for Community Center Shanghai’s new Counselling+ Fund, a fund to assist counseling clients in accessing much needed additional community resources they would not otherwise have access to.
