Sep 4-5: Legend of Hao Hao

Hong Kong based artist Yang Hao has been trying to combine dance theater with a Cantonese talk show and a Mandarin talk show since 2018, to create a contemporary art form with a strong personal style. Yang refers to this novel form as dance-up comedy. This performance at the 1862 Theatre is the Shanghai premier of contemporary dance comedy, in a mix of Mandarin and Cantonese.

Antidote is an escape from the city, within the city. Three floors of pure, unadulterated chill on the West Bund. On the first floor, find a creative market, painting corner, reading corner, music, eats and drinks. On the second floor, get lost in an immersive dark zone. Explore the different sections to find video art, napping areas, a UV tea ceremony, a hidden living room and an art installation. The top floor offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the West Bund riverside. Here, you can enjoy music from ambient DJs, visual art, storytelling, yoga, meditation, or just take a nap. Turn on airplane mode and come and relax. All ticket holders are invited with a +1 to the fourth-floor after party, 6-9pm.
