Skill X Launch
In May 2021, Z&B Fitness successfully launched Skill X at their Huaihai Studio location, as the newest fitness program on offer. Skill X is a concept of performance training at 45-minutes intervals, to meet the needs of the most demanding clients by providing diverse and goal-oriented training variability.
Originally developed by Technogym in Europe, Skill X is now the most popular program in Europe. Z&B Fitness is excited to be the first to introduce this exercise program in Asia. The program is designed purposely to meet the goals of two major groups of exercisers: athletic performers who want to get better at the sports & hobbies they enjoy, and group exercise enthusiasts, who focus on keeping fit, happy and healthy while being challenged in a team setting.
Skill X Effectiveness
There are four key elements that make Skill X so effective, affording its growing popularity.
Programs
Skill X offers a constantly updated library of new training programs that contain a multitude of class options to satisfy different needs of a diverse group of participants.
Methodology
The program’s methodology focuses on the four athletic pillars of performance training.
Power – to increase acceleration in the initial phase of the movement
Speed – to perform exercises and athletic tasks in the shortest time possible
Agility – to improve neuromuscular efficiency and coordination
Stamina – to maintain the output for prolonged periods of time
Digital Format
The digital format experience is guided through the use of a TeamBeats application, a system that monitors the heart rate of exercisers to help them maintain the correct heart rate within the appropriate ranges throughout the workout to achieve the most optimal fitness results.
Training Approach
The training approach is performance-oriented – focusing on quality over quantity. The key element is proper high intensity training with an appropriate volume trade off. The program also offers individual assessment, heart rate tracking and progression tracking.
This is one of the first end-user format experience of its kind that has ever launched in Asia. Through Skill X, thanks to engaging group classes, guests are guided and motivated through Technogym Smart Equipment and digital solutions to maximize the benefits of the exercises and to achieve the results they desire.
