July 7: New Quiz Season
A new Wednesday Night Quiz season starts this week at El Santo. Shanghai's longest running, the quiz is absolutely free to enter, with 10 rounds covering everything from current events, geography, history, pop culture, music, film and more, and there are El Santo vouchers and three bottles of Prosecco up for grabs. If all that was not enough, drinks are half price until 8pm, while food is half price all night long. The quiz kicks off at 7.30pm and is all wrapped up by around 10pm, so everyone can be fresh at work the next day. And at the end of each quarterly season, the winners receive a whopping RMB2,000 voucher. As the first quiz of a new season, there is no better time to join!

July 9-10: A Bu & Gaoyang Li Quartet

A Bu is a creative jazz pianist and composer from Beijing. Li Gaoyang is a saxophonist proficient in baritone, treble saxophone and other musical instruments. They make sweet, sweet music together.

July 10: Plump Food & Drink Festival

BISOU and the Plump Garden are co-hosting the Plump Food & Drink Festival. Four floors of food and drink at Taikang Terrace, featuring some of the city's heavyweight chefs, bartenders and brands. The line-up includes chefs Rembrandt Van Der Laan, Sean Jorgensen, Simon Sunwoo and Carlos Sotomayor.
