May 12-16 DRiNK Street

WechatIMG417.jpeg

Riding on the coattails of the success of last year's DRiNK Street, this year the event is back with even better news: Drink Street will take place six times per year for the next two years at the Shanghai Centre, becoming the only rain-protected night market in the city! The first edition of Drink Street will feature 12 bars from around China partnered with 12 liquor brands, like Makers Mark, Campari, Monkey Shoulder and Asahi. The event will run 4-10pm on May 12-14 and 1-10pm on May 15-16. Read more here

The event is free to enter, but you must purchase a RMB35 reusable cup to drink the cocktails while simultaneously saving Mother Earth from unnecessary garbage. Drinking for a cause, we are into it.

May 22-28 Feast Week, May 29-30 Feast Fest

Shanghai's FEAST food festival by Social Supply is back for its 7th year... with a twist! The theme of this now week-long event is Road Trip Through China's Regional Cuisine. The days leading up to the main event is Feast Week (May 22-28), which will include an array of foodie-focused events, workshops, dining experiences, explorations and discussions that focus on China's rich food culture. The festival will culminate into Feast Fest (May 29-30), a weekend of hawker-style food vendors at the Jing'an Kerry Centre outdoor piazza, each focusing on a specific regional cuisine, plus drink vendors, live music, entertainment and special programming.

The event is free to enter, with food and beverages sold by each vendor. Prebooking or RSVP is required for selected special events and the symposium (FeastCon) that takes place during Feast Fest.

May 29-30 Destination Paradise

The guys behind Brawl On The Bund are focusing on festivals this year, and they have lined up two days of celebration on the Wharf 1846 Rooftop right on the Bund. This is a good old fashioned festival. Expect original, creative, inclusive and positive vibes meant for everyone. There will be three key music areas spilt between outdoor and indoor spaces over-looking the iconic skyline of Shanghai. It’s not all music though, this is a festival to celebrate music, food and drink, and there will be some of the city's most exciting and well-known F&B operators taking part, including the likes of Tomatito, Klay, Peddlers Gin and The Broken Dagger. Pre-Early Bird tickets go on sale from May 1, and are limited. Scan the QR on the flyer above to find out more.
