The Shanghai Writing Workshop is proud to offer its second instalment of Circle of Sages. This event features top educators from around Shanghai lecturing about topics that would normally never see the light of day in academia, but for one night, the impossible becomes possible. Unusual topics such as how the New Testament ruins all sequels, why people think Africa is a country and how renaissance art set the stage for the selfie will all be viewed with a critical eye. In concise, 15 minute lectures and through over-the-top power point presentations, knowledge will be spread and alcohol will be consumed.
