Good news for those in pursuit of trivia: there are now two pub quizzes at The Camel each week.
The Wednesday night quiz takes you through 10 rounds, covering everything from current events, history, geography, pop culture, film and more, with video and music rounds to cap the night off. Meal deals are on offer, and it’s happy hour for participants for the duration of the quiz.
The action kicks off at 7.30pm and is all wrapped up by 10pm so everyone can be fresh at work the next day. Entry is free and a RMB500 bar tab is up for grabs, as well as booze prizes. It is also a league with quarterly winners crowned who are given a night of eating and drinking on the house.
Friday night sees a standalone quiz with six themed rounds that always includes a film and a music round (and a whole lot more to boot) with great prizes on offer. It kicks off at 7.30pm, finishes around 10pm, and costs RMB100 to enter, which gets you three drinks.
