Last year, HKRI Taikoo Hui launched its very first Christmas event named ‘Dare to Dazzle,’ which successfully kicked off wintertime in Shanghai. On December 3, HKRI Taikoo Hui unveiled its second annual Christmas Festival Campaign themed ‘Dare For More, Dare To Love’ with a grand lighting ceremony.
Distinguished leaders including Vice Director of Jing’an Commerce Commission Wang Yan, Vice Director of Jing’an Culture and Tourism Administration Hua Xiangyi, Chief Executive Officer Zoe Chow, and Deputy General Manager Susan Du of HKRI Taikoo Hui lit up the symbolic Christmas tree. Innovative Retail Business Director of NetEase Yanxuan Ye Shushu, Initiator of Blue Ribbon Charity Project Yang Xiaoyan, and members of the mainstream media also attended the event.
During the ceremony, the traditional story of Christmas was recreated with an original fairytale all about Santa Claus giving out Christmas gifts along with his little helpers. The heartwarming story and the fantastic Christmas wonderland created in HKRI Taikoo Hui brought the entire crowd together in the spirit of the season.
“Since it opened in 2017, HKRI Taikoo Hui has been dedicated to introducing high-quality brands and providing an exclusive shopping experience. Positive messages are delivered to customers and they are also encouraged to keep exploring all the time. This Christmas campaign also warms West Nanjing Road by creating a fairytale wonderland of love and bringing innovative immersive experiences to visitors,” Wang said at the ceremony.
From now until January 3, visitors to HKRI Taikoo Hui can enjoy the traditional elements of Christmas as well as a new story originated from the ancient Finnish Santa. It’s all about a group of little animal fairies who help the 2,000-year-old Santa prepare and distribute gifts. Through this story, caring, wishing, giving and sharing can be felt throughout the fairytale wonderland.
In the past two years, in addition to introducing superior brands and providing an ideal shopping experience, HKRI Taikoo Hui also held a series of crossover events in arts and culture. During this year’s Christmas campaign, a variety of on-site activities and attractive Christmas scenes focus on the reimagined fairytale to deliver the message of both gratefulness and giving. As the slogan of this campaign – Dare For More, Dare To Love – customers are encouraged to deliver heartwarming love through sharing happiness and helping others.
