Jul 25: Deniro Farrar with DonMonique and Trent the Hooligan

Spectacles of Sound bring Cult Rap Label affiliates Deniro Farrar and Trent the Hooligan, as well as Thirst Trap Queen DonMonique for a China tour, stopping off at ALL this Thursday. Farrar is undoubtedly the most celebrated of this trio of US rappers, but Trent the Hooligan is the rising star, with some excellent tracks to back it up.

Jul 26: NOIZU

Noizu, a DJ from Los Angeles, is coming to Arkham to blow minds and get people dancing. The mysterious artist, who only reveals his identity with a self-drawn cartoon, made his debut on HOWSLA EP with his song 'Lasers.' The DJ has worked with the likes of Chris Lakes and Skrillex and has a song with over one million plays on Spotify. Come see Noizu and dance the night away this Friday.

Jul 26: WC7 & KSNKST

Serbian duo Drumovi will lead you down a delicious aural pathway this Friday, weaving through alluring and, at times, alienating sounds, consisting of pagan, ritualistic and primal (dis)harmonies. Nothing is anticipated, everything is allowed.

Jul 26-27: New Shake City III: The 90's R&B Concert

Beepers, crop tops, candy rain, floppy disks, Lexus sedans and ’90s R&B. Shanghai's house of funk and soul takes it back to back in the day, with an evening featuring music by TLC, Jade, Janet, Ginuwine, The Neptunes and more, from hip hop soul and new jack swing to Y2K futurism. Singer/producer Courtney Knott stars, joined by SHAKE's six-piece band, The Shanghai Sheiks.

Jul 27: Girls and Boys Britpop Night

'You want to live like common people? You want to see whatever common people see?' or so Pulp's 'Common People' goes. For more throwback British Indie tunes like the '95 classic, head down to Specters for a night of music that defined a generation.

Jul 30: Anne-Marie

Since 2018, Anne-Marie has become a huge name in the world of pop. Her feature in hit songs, 'Rockabye,' and the Marshmello collaboration, 'Friends,' propelled her to stardom. She released her debut album shortly afterwards and won Album of the Year at the 2019 All British Music Awards. Coming to China for the first time, this breakout star is one you won't want to miss.
