Jun 6: Say Yes Pres. Bruce

Bruce’s first two EPs, Just Getting Started / Tilikum for Livity Sound and Not Stochastic on Hessle Audio, announced an artist with a clear sonic signature. Bruce's background in electro-acoustic sound design allows him to pull the rug out from under the listener’s feet, but he always has the tact to drop them safely back to Earth. This push and pull has made for some of the most thrilling tracks in recent memory.

Jun 6: Eating Music Camp Launch Party

Eating Music are coming back for their music camp for the second year. This music exchange program invites young people to participate in a variety of activities. Their launch party in Elevator will feature Endy Chen, Eric Lau, HBD and ollo-MAM playing fun and funky beats.

Jun 7: Mx China Pearl Drag Pageant!

Kick off the holiday weekend with this epic drag show. 10 Drag artists hailing from Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing and more, will go head to head and showcase their talents in a battle for the title of Mx. The Pearl is proud to present what is the first all-inclusive drag pageant in Shanghai! The event starts at 7.30pm but the Pearl’s Red Stars band will warm up the dinner crowd before the pageant goes into full gear from 8.30pm.

Jun 7: 44KW Pres. Tobias

Tobias will take the stage at 44KW this Friday, where he will be mixing and mashing a variety of different sounds. His expertise in musical hardware will leave you wondering whether you're listening to avant-garde music or classic club beats.

If you really want to get into the summer vibe, why not go enjoy some reggae sounds at Lofas this Friday? The Jungle Warriors from Far East Lion Underground will be putting on a live set all night long where you can really get your groove on.

Jun 8: Sinatra Tribute Concert

Any Sinatra fans out there? This one's for you. Frank Bray and the Pearl Big Band, conducted by Antonio Ximenez, will take the stage for a spectacular evening of your favorite classic Sinatra standards, including 'New York, New York,' 'Come Fly With Me,' 'Fly Me To The Moon' and more.

Jun 8: Motorbike Maximum Rock and Soul From Hell

Take a ride back in time with DJs Sacco and Baron Van West. They are bringing you a night full of vintage surf sounds along with some good old rock and pop tunes from the nuggets era, all delivered on vinyl.

Jun 8: Kraak & Smaak Live in Shanghai

Bar Rouge Shanghai is setting the scene to welcome Dutch producers Kraak & Smaak on Saturday, June 8. Expect upbeat renditions of funky, jazz & nu-disco tunes; an ecclectic mix of sharp sounds for a night of vibrant rhythms.The Dutch producer trio consists of Oscar de Jong, Mark Kneppers and Wim Plug and released their first album Boogie Angst all the way back in 2005.

Jun 9: ANNATA: Not A Real Drag Show

What better way to cap off the holiday weekend than with a wild and outrageous drag show. There's no telling what will happen on stage but the experimental theater performance is bound to be a good time. Six performers will take the stage at the famous cabaret club to keep you entertained all night long.
