Style Radar: Nicole Miller's Epic Dim Sum Fail in Shanghai

American fashion designer Nicole Miller wrote about her failed quest for dim sum in Shanghai in Newsweek last month. Landing somewhere between a serious thinkpiece from the perspective of a Shanghai newbie and self-trolling, Miller’s article detailed her three-day-long trip during Shanghai Fashion Week, and all the fancy places she went to (oh, that divine ham and cheese sandwich at Baker & Spice), as well as the culture shock (small restaurants didn’t take her credit card or speak English to her) she experienced along the way.

What disappointed Miller the most, however, was the fact that she couldn’t find “authentic dim sum” here. Hmm… may we suggest a trip to Hong Kong instead next time? Read the full article here.
