Think you are the best junior rockers in town? Prove it live on stage, while raising funds for a fantastic cause.
It’s that time of year again where Urban Family and That’s Shanghai take over Green City in Jinqiao for our annual Sound of Spring festival. This May 18-19 will see a collaboration of music, sport and community spirit to Shanghai and you’re invited to join the fun.
Open to all families, our festival will be delivered over two exciting days with activities, a soccer tournament, musical entertainment and delicious treats from Shanghai’s well-known restaurants.
As always, the weekend culminates on Sunday afternoon with Heart to Heart Shanghai’s 8th annual Battle of the Bands competition, where each band is given two songs to impress a panel of esteemed judges.
Schools can solicit donations during their band’s performances, with a winner for best performance selected by the judges, and another for the most donations from the audience. A school will also be recognized for most spirit, determined by attendance, energy and enthusiasm.
